Die eigene Realität vor Augen führen. Paris Mitte September. Ich begab mich während zwölf Tagen zu Bewohner*innen im vierten und zwölften Arrondissement. Die Publikation zeigt Facetten zum Thema „Platz“. Dabei geht es nicht um den Platz als solches, sondern ich beabsichtige ein Wortspiel mit dem Begriff „Platz“. Ich nahm Dinge um mich herum aus dem ursprünglichen Kontext und setzte sie in neue Kombinationen. Dabei entstanden neue Geschichten und moralische Aspekte. Situationen, die ich als deplatziert empfinde, hielt ich fotografisch fest. Innert Sekunden bewegten sich die Menschen in meinem Blickfeld am gleichen Platz. In einem Daumenkino hielt ich dies fest, Silhouetten und Formen, die den gesamten Platz meines Formats ausfüllen.

Visualise your own reality. I spent twelve days visiting residents in the fourth and twelfth arrondissements. The publication shows facets of the theme "square". It is not about the square as such, but I intend to make a play on words with the term "square". I took things around me out of their original context and placed them in new combinations. This created new stories and moral aspects. I captured situations that I felt were out of place photographically. Within seconds, the people in my field of vision moved to the same place. I captured this in a flip book, silhouettes and shapes that fill the entire space of my format.
